Our essential oil comes from ground-harvested leaves, which results in a lower eugenol content (70-75%) but more importantly, a more sustainable supply chain that does not harm the trees.
Organic certification guarantees the protection of the climate and the environment, the conservation of soil fertility, the preservation of biodiversity, the respect of the natural cycles of plants, the absence of the use of chemical and synthetic products, transparent labeling and traceability.

The clove tree is a small tropical tree with dark-green, persistent foliage. The undersides of the leaves are dotted with pockets containing secretory odorous components.
Leaves are collected manually by local collectors. The fresh leaves are steam distilled immediately after collection or, at the latest, the next day.
