Our added value

To ensure the sustainability of the supply chain, we act as close as possible to the resource. We support our agricultural partners from culture to distillation and oversee these partnerships through multiannual contracts. We have developed a mobile distillery that is 100% french-made, enabling us to support farmers and distil our roses as close to the fields as possible.

Symbolic plant of the Grasse region, Albert Vieille actively acts for its reintroduction on the territory and participates as a local actor.
To ensure the sector’s sustainability, we work directly with several farmers and oversee all our agricultural partnerships through multi-year contracts that mutually commit us to a volume, quality and a fair price defined by mutual agreement.
From cultivation to distillation, our teams offer on-site support to our agricultural partners through training and know-how transfer. Inter-producers meetings are organised in order to share and improve everyone skills.
Our organic roses are grown using natural care, without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We work to maintain a living soil and a wide biodiversity.

In order to provide support to farmers wishing to convert to distillation, to understand the costs and techniques and to guarantee the products’ quality, we have developed a mobile distillation unit. Our mobile distillery is a 100% French-made tool, from design to manufacture, custom-built and certified organic. It allows, since 2017, to distil our roses as close as possible to the fields.

Our floral water has an average titration of 150 mg/L. The main constituents are phenyl ethyl alcohol, citronellol, geraniol and nerol. As their proportions in the water are less than 100ppm, they can be used without risk of allergens in cosmetic products.

Gentle antibacterial, skin tonic, soothes nervous tensions that are expressed at the digestive level and at the heart. Antidepressant, it is the perfect floral water for fearful people, it restores courage, vitality and self-confidence.

Having arrived in Europe in the late 16th century, this flower so emblematic of the perfume industry, alongside jasmine and iris, has brought worldwide fame to Grasse. The May rose, a member of the Rosaceae family, is a symbol of Grasse’s agricultural heritage. It is this unique terroir between the mountains and the sea that gives this flower its fragrance, so prized by perfumers. It is also known as the “Centifolia rose,” a reference to the bloom’s multitude of petals. There are two species of rose used in perfumery: the May rose or Rosa centifolia, and the Damask rose, from which essential oil or absolute is extracted.

The flowers are hand-gathered in May, when just opened. To preserve their scent and the flowers’ integrity, the harvest takes place dawn, before the heat of the day. Our mobile distillery lets us distill the flowers at the edge of the fields to obtain May rose floral water, with floral, rosy notes.
